8/9/23 I had a craving for blue shell crabs today and found a spot that did me well. I'm skeptical when it comes to buying steamed crabs since I cook my own; but Jae's did an excellent job. I ordered a dozen large spicy male crabs. The claws and legs were full of meat and flavorful. If you're looking for steamed crabs without the disappointment, check out Jae Seafood . I purchased early in the day around 1130-noon, the quality and service was great. Facts: I walked in placed my order, asked the price ($47), and was told 25 mins. I received a text when done and it was worth the wait. This business has a new customer. Yes, I measured the crab and each one was about the same size.
Was on a drive home and searched for blue crabs lead me here. Was worth the detour. Did not know what to expect but they were fresh and heavy. 10/10 would recommend.
Was all over the place looking for some crabs this past Mother's Day and found this place after an exhausting search. I'm no crab expert and I can't speak for the rest of the menu, but I was told that the crabs were good. Hot, and well seasoned. The owner, Tommy is hilarious. Talked me into buying the last dozen Super Jumbos he had, but also ended up throwing in a few large. Just a couple of those supers were enough for a meal
I discovered this place a few years back when it first opened. As a crab lover I was so happy to find a spot within a few miles of home to get on of my favorites. They never disappoint!! The crabs are excellent and always spiced to your liking. The staff are a young bunch of good guys working their butts off to make it happen.
crabs were good but they don't use regular old bay. they use "crab seasoning" and it's too salty. crabs should be with old bay 100% of the time
